Family Nurse Practitioner
Making a positive difference in people’s lives in the community is the motto that Katie lives by. For almost 20 years she has devoted her life to helping others in the medical field. From the very beginning with a recommendation from her mother in 1998, Katie began her career as a CNA, then onto becoming a Registered Nurse. Since 2003 Katie has been a bedside nurse, charge nurse and preceptor to new nurses on the Neuroscience Critical Care Unit. Continuing onward with her passion for helping patients in the community she completed her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Being an avid lover of the outdoors Katie enjoys gardening, walking her two Siberian Huskies and spending time her husband and daughters. If you are up for having a great steak, Katie is too! Staying close to her roots, growing up just outside of Manito makes Katie a great choice when it comes to choosing a local practitioner to help you and your family be healthy and stay healthy!
