Do I need to arrive early for my appointment?
We ask that you arrive approximately 15-20 minutes before your first appointment. This will give you some time to settle in and complete any necessary forms. Sumer Wellness patients enjoy prompt appointments, so treatments begin and end on time.
Are there any physical concerns or conditions that would affect me getting this treatment?
Concerns relating to pregnancy, impaired mobility, allergies, recent surgeries, or medical conditions should be discussed with your primary care physician or providers prior to your visit.
What should I do if I am uncomfortable during treatment?
If at any time during your treatment, you do not feel comfortable with temperature, pressure or technique being used, please do not hesitate to advise your practitioner. They will not be offended and will appreciate being able to make your visit more comfortable.
What type of atmosphere can I expect?
We respectfully request cell phones and PDAs be turned off. It is for your peace of mind as well as those around you. As a courtesy to our guests and for safety reasons, we ask that children not be brought to the treatment rooms. The minimum age for spa services is sixteen.
I’m not able to make my appointment. Will I still be charged?
We kindly request a 24 hour notice for date change or cancellation. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Please note that an appointment time that could have been filled by another guest wanting services goes unfilled should you not show. A fee may be charged if you cancel without sufficient notice or do not show.
Do I need to tip?
Merry Sumer, PA-C does not accept gratuities.
Does Sumer Wellness offer gift cards?
Gift cards are available in various denominations. Please inquire for details.
